HOW IT ALL WORKS
0I. BOOKING & PLANNING
Once you’ve decided I’m the photographer for you — we’ll begin planning your session! I offer a variety of collections to fit your needs + vision. I’ll walk you through exactly what to expect every step of the way. From outfit styling to location prep — we’ll cover all the fun details so you feel fully prepared & most importantly, excited for your session! Above all, I value the client experience and am committed to creating something truly special for you & your loved ones.
Location plays a key role in bringing your vision to life. I photograph exclusively using natural light — outdoor sessions take place during golden hour (sunrise or sunset), while indoor sessions are held during the day in bright, window-lit spaces.
02. YOUR SESSION
Your session day is finally here — let’s have some fun! Please plan to arrive on time, as session timing is intentionally scheduled around the best light. This allows us to make the most of our time together.
Feeling a little nervous? Don’t be! All you need to do is show up & enjoy the moment. I’ll guide you every step of the way — from posing the kiddos to fixing mama’s hair!
You’re welcome to bring anything that will help make the session smooth and enjoyable — snacks or little bribes for the kids, a beer for your husband (lol), & any touch-up essentials: like a hairbrush, lipstick, or a change of clothes for little ones.
03. GALLERY + ORDERING
Within 3–4 weeks of your session, you’ll receive a beautifully curated online gallery filled with your edited images. From there, you can download both web-size & high-resolution files for personal use — including social sharing + printing. Chloe Reed Photography offers a curated selection of fine art products — from lucite albums to custom gallery walls ... all designed to beautifully fill your home & preserve your memories for years to come!
CRP partners with a professional, membership-only print lab to ensure your products are of the highest quality in the industry.

Do I get to select my final images?
When you hire me, you’re trusting me to carefully select the very best images from our session. I promise — no closed eyes or your kiddo nose-picking moments will make the cut!
When & where are sessions done?
You’ll have your choice of location! Once booked, we’ll chat through your vision during your consultation & choose a spot that perfectly fits the look you’re going for.
Outdoor sessions take place during the softest, most flattering light of the day — golden hour. Indoor sessions are scheduled during midday, when natural light is brightest & most consistent.
Please keep this in mind when booking your session!
When will I receive my final images?
Editing takes time. I go through every photograph from our session & edit the 'winners' with the signature Chloe Reed Photography style. Within 3-4 weeks, you will receive the curated gallery of thoughtfully selected images — where you can download, share & shop your professionally edited photos!
While print purchases are never required, you’ll have access to a professional print shop offering fine art products thoughtfully designed to turn your images into lasting heirlooms! I’m always happy to connect & guide you through custom pieces or larger orders.
What is a family session with you like?
I spend the first moments of our session getting to know you and helping you feel comfortable! I never want to feel like just your photographer — I want to feel like a friend!!
My approach is centered around capturing genuine, meaningful moments. Rather than stiff poses or forced smiles, I gently guide you while allowing space for the natural, in-between moments to unfold.
My goal is to capture who you ARE — not just what you look like.
What is a newborn session like?
Newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your home on weekdays between 10am–12pm. I recommend scheduling your session within 2–4 weeks of your baby’s arrival, though every stage of this season is truly beautiful!
Sessions are reserved based on your due date, with flexibility built in ... as babies often arrive on their own terms!
I accept a limited number of newborn sessions each month, so I recommend booking early to ensure availability!
